The Immoral Political Left




In politics, left-wingers, or leftists like to think of themselves as "progressives" who are first and foremost interested in a more egalitarian distribution of wealth. President Barack Obama has declared himself such a "progressive" and is dead set on instituting policies aimed at redistribution of wealth.

The problem with such a position is it is based on a premise which has never been examined and requires actions which are clearly immoral.

The premise which leftists cannot prove is that life is better for everyone if there is not a "wealth gap." It might seem that less wealthy people would be better off if they were given a portion of the wealth which rich people seem to enjoy, but such an idea cannot be proven. It is tenet of the Marxist religion accepted entirely on faith without any deep examination.

To the contrary, there is quite a bit of evidence that wealthy people are willing to make the investments, risky investments in new technology and processes, which ultimately raise every one's level of material (if not spiritual) well-being. Are you going to give a man a fish? Or are you going to teach him to fish for himself? Are you going to forcibly spread the existing wealth? Or are you going to get out of the way of the creation of new wealth so everyone becomes wealthier?

The immoral action which socialists inevitably find necessary is the initiation of force. If wealthy people cannot be persuaded to voluntarily give huge portions of their wealth to the less wealthy (precisely because they see better investments which will benefit everyone), then they must be forced. Voluntary socialism (as in experimental communities) falls apart because the lazy refuse to do their part. Involuntary socialism (the brand of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party) is morally equivalent to theft and slavery.

When a religious party controls all branches of government, a country's Constitution becomes dysfunctional and all the Viagra, Levitra and Cialis in the world could not bring it back to vibrant strength. Today in the United States that religious party is the Democratic Party and the religion is Marxist socialism.

Constitution was a miraculous 5000 year leap for mankind. But it needs you to focus on the miracle, revitalize the miracle, make the miracle strong again.

A complex legal system, based on objectively valid principles, is required to make a society free and to keep it free — a system that does not depend on the motives, the moral character or the intentions of any given official, a system that leaves no opportunity, no legal loophole for the development of tyranny.

Known as "Il Duce" -- the Leader -- Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini (July 29, 1883 – April 28, 1945) [Leo sun sign like Barack Obama] was the prime minister and dictator of Italy from 1922 until 1943. Self-proclaimed "socialist heretic", he founded the Fascist Party in 1919, used duplicity and misrepresentation to win political favor and took power in 1922. He created a dictatorship and dissolved the parliament. Yet for many years he was popular as he expanded government services and public works. His Utopian blindness was responsible for many deaths. Over 400,000 Italians were killed during the Second World War. At least 30,000 Ethiopians were killed during his Italian occupation of Ethiopia.

President Obama does not have to dissolve the legislative branch of government, because the fascist party he has been building out of the old Democratic Party is already in control and will give him anything he wants. What he will do is render the U.S. Constitution meaningless. Because the Constitution was meant to limit government, and fascist socialists are government worshippers intent on their Utopian dream of "making life better" for each and every one of us ... by means, of course, of government force.

Obama's Myopic Mismanagement



"What must be done to recover from this financial crisis? Barack Obama rightly stresses that we first must understand how today’s problems emerged. 'It is only by understanding how we arrived at this moment that we’ll be able to lift ourselves out of this predicament.'

"Unfortunately, Obama (along with most of the Washington establishment) has created only misunderstanding. In calling for a massive increase in government control over the economy, he has evaded the mountain of evidence implicating the government [as culprit].

"For example, Obama’s core explanation of all the destructive behavior leading up to today’s crisis is that the market was too free. But the market that led to today’s crisis was systematically manipulated by government. Fact: this decade saw drastic attempts by the government to control the housing and financial markets--via a Federal Reserve that cut interest rates to all-time lows, and via a gigantic increase in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s size and influence. Fact: through these entities, the government sought to 'stimulate the economy' and promote home ownership (sound familiar?) by artificially extending cheap credit to home-buyers. Fact: most of the (very few) economists who actually predicted the financial crisis blame Fed policy or housing policy for inflating a bubble that was bound to collapse.

What is the answer? Where must Obama really look? Jesus Christ would save Obama from frantic mismanagement, but will Obama listen:

Obama and Chavez in Deep Agreement: Injustice to Producers is "Fairness"



We see what we want to see. American President Obama and Venezuelan President Chavez see with the same prejudices. With Obama's socialist background and socialist imagination, in which successful business people are seen as villains and wage earners glorified, wealthy people (read "evil ones") are seen as not paying their "fair share" of taxes and lower income people are seen as not being treated "fairly" by the U.S. tax code. For Obama, "fairness" is all about manipulating everyone closer to economic equality ... by head-chopping means if necessary.

Never mind that all taxation is theft by the ruling political class and no taxation is fair. Obama's concept of "fairness" makes taxation an act of religious worship honoring the God of Universal Injustice.

What happens if men and women of lofty goals and tireless effort (the initiators of industry and commerce) look at their tax burden and say "Screw this!"
