Because the god of socialists is government and their religious practice is using government to force their agenda on others, conservative response to socialism is often interpreted to mean conservatives dislike government. In his book "Liberty and Tyranny," Mark R. Levin clarifies the conservative feeling:
"The Conservative does not despise government. He despises tyranny. This is precisely why the Conservative reveres the Constitution and insists on adherence to it. An 'effective' government that operates outside its constitutional limitations is a dangerous government."
The U.S. government has instituted most of the tyrannical agenda of Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, and no one in their right mind would any longer call America a free country. Mark Levin's Conservative Manifesto would correct the course of the United States government, steering America back toward freedom long ago enjoyed.
