Obama admits the truth. Private enterprise gets it done. Government enterprises are poor alternatives.
Since Americans are not dumb (all but politicians can put together two and two), it's clear to see that President Obama is attempting to tout government health care by making a perfect argument for getting government out of health care altogether. Do we really want a health care system which is disastrous as the U.S. Postal System? Or Amtrack? Or any other government operation?
Not only is government intervention never a solution ... government intervention is immoral because it is forced on people. As soon as people are forced, there is no longer freedom. Forcing solutions on people by fraud, gunpoint, legislation, judicial fiat or majority rule is injustice ... degrading and unfair; but allowing people free choice among solutions which rob no one allows the learning of responsibility and the development of self-esteem.
Get government out of the way and the free market will provide the best and least expensive health care.
