What does Sarah Palin have to do with health care for Americans?
The common Democratic argument for the U.S. government taking over the health care industry is “there are 47 million Americans who are inadequately insured.” Since there are 307 million Americans, this is equivalent to saying 15% of Americans don’t have the level of health insurance which liberals think they should have.
Ignoring the fact that for the first 200 years in America 99% of U.S. citizens did not have any health insurance whatsoever and nonetheless lived long, healthy lives … ignoring that fact, let’s look at those who are so-called “inadequately insured.”
The ugly truth that Democrats are not really interested in people’s health is evidenced by the fact that under their legislation health care will be rationed by bureaucratic health czars. What Democrats are really interested in is building huge government bureaucracies so they can appoint their friends and “foot soldiers” to government jobs and thereby maintain iron-fisted Chicago-style political control. Knowing the real motives of Democrats, we can assume they have found ways to blow up a little toy balloon into a very large appearing blimp labeled “47 million.” The correct number of “inadequately insured” by their definition is probably more like 17 million, but allowing for error let's start with 27 million, not 47 million.
But it is liberal do-gooders who define “inadequate.” Hordes of part-time workers have insurance which gives them at least some relief for any major health problems they create for themselves. So the real number, those who are totally uninsured by some insurance plan, is probably closer to 10 million. There may be 10 million Americans today, 3% of Americans ... not 47 million, 15% of Americans ... who are living without insurance in the way 99% of Americans always lived in the past.
Out of those 10 million, there are probably 3 million who have adequate family ties, family members who would help pay for medical bills, etc., the way it’s always been done for centuries. So there are maybe 7 million, not 47 million, who are not sure where they would turn if they created for themselves serious health problems.
It is often argued that these 7 million “cannot afford” health insurance. But this is not true. We’ve looked at the poorest neighborhoods and we see that everyone has a car and a television set, many have pets, most have cell phones, there is plenty of beer, and lots of music floating from ghetto blasters and neighborhood bars, as well as many other “goodies” evident. There is nothing poor about so-called “poor people.” They have simply made choices to buy other things besides health insurance.
Seven million free individuals have freely made the choice that they don’t want health insurance. Maybe 6 million of those wouldn’t mind having health insurance, but they don’t want it enough to give up their cars or their television sets or their cell phones or the other “goodies” which they would rather have. Maybe another million either don’t like doctors, refuse to go to a doctor, and therefore feel they don’t need health insurance; or don’t like the concept of insurance and wouldn’t buy insurance if their life depended on it.
To the liberal do-gooders of the Democratic Party, freedom of choice is not to be allowed (except in the case of killing babies). In the liberal mind, health insurance must be made mandatory. Obviously mandatory health insurance is dictatorship, but Democrats don’t mind dictatorship as long as they are the dictators … which is precisely their plan.
Republicans are afraid to call a spade a spade. God forbid they take a stand against mandatory health insurance … for fear they would appear insensitive to all those poor people who have chosen cars, televisions and ghetto blasters.
Thank God for Sarah Palin! She has freed herself from limiting political protocol. She can now go out among everyday Americans and call a spade a spade. She can now remind people of their truest deepest heart’s desire, which is not some Democratic-forced health insurance ... but the freedom to make one’s own decisions, including the decision to live or die, take care of one's health or not, as one decides for oneself.
Sarah Palin can speak out and remind Americans of the real truth ... that the only meaningful health insurance is freedom from government dictatorship.

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions." But are Obama's intentions even good?
Giving President Obama the benefit of the doubt, his intentions could be viewed as good. There seems to be a health care problem (caused by government intervention in the free market in the first place). But is there really a need to race forward with very bad legislation which in the name of a "fix" will surely create infinitely worse problems?
Mitt Romney tells Obama: slow down and take a deeper look, because you don't know what you are doing. Romney already reformed health care in Massachusetts, and he did it extremely carefully, taking his time and getting everyone involved ... and despite every expertise and precaution the Massachusetts "fix," although infinitely better than Obamacare, still needs fixing. Romney counsels "Slow Down".
President Obama admits he has no idea what is really in the health care legislation being strong-armed through the U.S. House of Representatives. So why the hurry? What kind of President rushes into something about which he has no clue?
Unfortunately, President Obama is a "don't bother me with the details" type of leader who is only interested in power and appearances ... the power of increased federal control wielded by his party, and the appearance of creating "accomplishments" to brag about before voters.
This is important to understand: Obama doesn't really care whether the health care reform works or not, as long as he can sign health care reform into law and create more government bureaucracies and control over people's lives. Once government controlled health care is law, it will be impossible to repeal and his Democrats will have thousands upon thousands of bureaucracy jobs and iron-fisted control of the lives of most Americans.
Socialism (government meddling in the marketplace) always lowers the quality of life for everyone except party politicians and bureaucrats (and even them if spiritual life is considered). One has to wonder why Obama is so blind to such an obvious historical lesson. But then again, maybe Obama has intentions we know not of. And maybe Americans should turn to someone a bit more sensible ... like Mitt Romney.

Republicans need both Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin.
At this time the two leading contenders for the Republican nomination in 2012 are Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin. Both possess virtues head and shoulders above all other Republican candidates, and both can easily restore the respectability of the Republican Party. So why not run both on the same ticket?
Before we rejoice that Republican redemption might easily be guaranteed, let's recognize that Mike Huckabee will try to sabotage the Republican Party again. He's already started with his vindictive negative comments about Romney and his wishy-washy far from truly positive comments about Sarah Palin. Huckabee has repeatedly broken Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment, "Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican," disqualifying himself by his own selfish agenda. What man or woman who can clearly see the difference between honesty and the pretense of righteousness would ever vote for Huckabee?
If the Republican Party is ever again to become a party of genuinely respected leaders, they will have to turn to leaders who are truly heroic ... like Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin.
There is a most important truth which no Republican ever talks about because everyone is too busy defending against the constant drum beat of the liberal world view and liberal propaganda. But the one thing above all else that the political left cannot allow to survive, and must attack to destroy ... is true heroism.
The mainstream media will not really try to destroy a politician like McCain or Huckabee, because such politicians are either not consistently heroic or not heroic in the first place. But let a Sarah Palin come along, or a Mitt Romney, and the inquisition becomes inhuman ... with each petty little left-leaning ego slashing out to cut them into small enough pieces to burn at their petty little stakes.
"But don't Republicans want a candidate who the media is not going to attempt to cut to pieces?"
No! "Safe with the media" equals "worthless," and Republicans, of all people, should know that by now. To be sure, the media has tried to picture Barack Obama as a hero, but they have pushed this phony image precisely because Obama is so thoroughly anti-heroic. Obama has trained himself for his entire life to never make a truly heroic decision or take a truly heroic act. For Obama, life is about giving carefully safe flowery speeches and avoiding responsibility. He is a house of cards.
By way of contrast, the pathway to redemption for the Republican Party is ... heroism.
Present a candidate who is willing to take on entrenched political and corporate vested interests, as Sarah Palin did in Alaska. Show voters a candidate who dared take on the job of turning a monumental fiasco into an unbelievable success, as Mitt Romney did with the 2002 Winter Olympics.
No Republicans have consistently made heroic decisions and taken heroic actions like Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin. If Republicans don't support these two great leaders, their party deserves to fade into obscurity.

"You've gotta love her!"
That's the common man or woman in the street speaking, the average Joe or Jane.
And that's why Democrats are shrieking to convince all of us: "You've gotta hate her!"
Democrats are wasting their energy. Sarah Palin will never run for President for one simple reason ... she is a woman without guile.
guile
-noun
insidious cunning in attaining a goal; crafty or artful deception; duplicity; as in artifice, chicanery, craft, cunning, deceit, deception, dirty pool, dirty work, dishonesty, double-cross, duplicity, foul play, run-around, ruse, stab in the back, treachery, trickery, artfulness, craftiness, dirty dealing, dirty trick, dissemblance, dissimulation, jive, sellout, sharp practice, trickiness, or wiliness.
She is incapable of any of the above. That means she is neither a Democrat, nor a Huckabee-like Republican, nor a mainstream media type. Rather, she is like most hard-working tax-enslaved common people ... praying for a break from political insanity.
Sarah will not run for President. But she is a voice calling in the wilderness and offering a picture of what a President can and should be like. Listen to this excerpt from the long ago original introduction to Course in Political Miracles:
The listening crowd had secretly allowed inside themselves a slight hope that this new candidate's voice would not be the voice of the usual political prostitute. They secretly wanted something new and had dared the slightest hope that this new woman candidate would be somehow different.
The candidate's voice shifted to a clear pure power the sound of which, if it could have been visibly seen, might have been seen as brilliant blue light. What the crowd heard was the voice of a goddess. A religious person listening would be vaguely reminded of powerful orators of the past who had been accused of being possessed by the devil, but would imagine this woman possessed by great angels intent on saving the earth:
"Your spirit is free and the natural state of your spirit is to be free from government running your life in a way you wouldn't have chosen!"
Everyone in the crowd knew the candidate was right and knew it would be harder than ever to avoid what was known to be right, not because they had not heard it before, but because they had now heard it in a different way than ever before.
Of course the above is a description of someone even more spiritually advanced than Sarah Palin. But Sarah is open enough to wake us up to potentials, to whet our appetite for the kind of leader we really want.
The contrast between happy, joyous, loving Sarah Palin and miserable grievance-inundated Democrats is too great to not have an effect on people. It will be interesting to see what happens. But this Sarah won't be running for President.

Once upon a time there were 3 little angels from heaven who came to earth to teach freedom.
The first angel came to teach the ultimate freedom ... spiritual freedom. He became a master teacher of the universal spiritual course and attracted many hundreds of students. Because of his great radiant light most of his students wanted to live near him and attend his sessions as often as possible. When they were able to disengage their intellects, do nothing with their minds, and join with him in spirit, it was almost like they were vacuumed out of this world ... swoosh ... into dazzling spiritual experiences and previously unimaginable understanding. "How tempting it is to stay in heaven and not even return to earth," said the enlightened students. But they usually found themselves back in the world, as if there was something to finish on earth.
The second angel came to teach intellectual freedom. She became a writer of novels and attracted several million readers. Her novels portrayed men and women as heroic when they refused to betray their spirit, their intuition, their reason and logic. Her readers learned to free their minds of dogma, propaganda, spiritless philosophizing, and peer group "correctness." They learned to entertain unconventional, innovative, and extraordinary mind-expanding ideas in the most daring intellectual enlightenment ever. Free minds electrified the world with inventions, scientific breakthroughs, technological marvels, and new solutions to age old problems. Yet if they happened to catch a few words by almost any politician on the evening news they invariably said to themselves, "If I wasn't laughing at this, I'd probably be crying! We're not out of the woods yet!"
The third angel came to teach political freedom. He became a prophet who saw into the future and saw the nature of governments after human beings became enlightened. He foresaw the abolition of the last remaining form of slavery, known as taxation. He saw a new democracy that did not amount to a dictatorship of the majority of voters, but rather a joyously agreed upon consensus. He saw a new political system which could not degenerate into a tyranny of special interest groups.
This angel could see clearly how workable and easy it would be for governments to replace the extortioner's practice of taxation with reliance on voluntary donations earmarked for specific projects. His vision showed him workable and sustainable mechanisms which would keep governments from taking over people's lives and put an end to government deception, force, and threat of force except for the minimal force necessary to stop those who might still mistakenly act on the old unenlightened belief that they could somehow gain by victimizing others.
This third angel could see the expansion of a future-looking totally liberty-oriented political party which eventually attracts hundreds of millions of voters in the United States alone. He could see elected office holders from this party transforming all governments into truly enlightened service organizations serving each individual more wonderfully than ever in history. "Liberty works!" became an accepted truth which everybody took for granted because it was an understanding which had indeed been granted to them by the grace of their enlightenment.
So that's the story. But a mischievous angel with an eye twinkle might ask: of the three angels who came to earth to teach freedom, which was doing the most heavenly work?
Hint: this is a trick question.
It might be tempting to immediately answer that the first angel is doing the greatest work, wouldn't you say? After all, the most all-encompassing freedom that can be taught is spiritual freedom. Show men and women that spiritual liberation is the experience they really, really, really want and they will automatically want to also experience intellectual and political freedom as a reflection of their own spiritual freedom, true or false?
Well, let's find out. For starters, here are three test questions:
Scenario 1: The earth is being blown to pieces, not in the wonderful sense of a spiritual flash-out in which all forms disappear into bright light, but in the painful, Armageddon sense of a world-wide nuclear war started by:
Kindergartners?
Spiritual seekers?
Political power addicts?
(circle one)
Scenario 2: The world is starving to death, not in the positive sense of earthly forms not being held together because all attention is on heaven, but with the physical suffering and physical deprivation of a devastating economic depression brought about by:
First graders?
Everyday productive workers?
Meddlesome government economists?
(circle one)
Scenario 3: The world is inspirationally dead, mired in listless stagnation, no new ideas, no new inventions, no new risk taking with new projects, only the lifeless status quo engendered by:
Second graders?
Free thinkers?
Intellectual dogmatists with power?
(circle one)
Your holy spirit really likes it when your world plunges into pain, sickness, suffering, stagnation, death and taxation. True or false?
False? Then maybe it's not your spirit but some other instigator who ultimately worships these hellish states. "By their fruits, ye shall know them."
Perhaps the way to salvation is not escaping to heaven while leaving intact the world of pain, sickness, suffering, death, and taxation.
Maybe the only way out of darkness altogether and forever is to lighten up the world even as you yourself lighten up. Maybe "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" means producing a world that is a reflection of the freedom your spirit enjoys.
Wouldn't it be surprising if spiritual freedom, intellectual freedom, and political freedom are ultimately inseparable?
Smile, you're on candid camera! You've been asked a trick question. It turns out the angel working for spiritual freedom, the angel working for intellectual freedom, and the angel working for political freedom are not three angels after all, but one and the same angel. Three in one so to speak, like St. Patrick's shamrock.
The law of non-contradiction proclaims that if you are interested in spiritual freedom you must at least in your mind also lend support to intellectual and political freedom, true or false?
Someone once said, "Show me a man who does not wish to accept shackles on his spirit but is willing to watch while others are shackled in order to achieve some high-sounding political goal, and I will show you a man who has sold his soul to internal conflict."
Yet nowadays there are those who say, "Show me a course of instruction which teaches spiritual freedom, intellectual freedom, and political freedom all at once and we will show you a course produced by angels whose work is uplifting the entire earth."
Such a course is Course in Political Miracles, a collection of lessons given to earth from the heavenly realms which if worked diligently for 52 weeks (one lesson a week) not only liberates you from the pain, fear, and guilt inflicted by your own mind, but creates political freedom in the process.
To your friends and relatives who are highly interested in spiritual opening and a spiritual life, you can say with non-contradictory honesty: "You are a spiritual being. And yet while you are still stepping a foot on earth, whether you like it or not you are also a political being. So I'm sending you a story about your political world not being something which can be ignored and separated out of your life after all."
To your relatives and friends who are interested in political freedom, you can say in honest truth: "A political world which reflects full freedom cannot be created by those who have yet to experience the fullness of their own spiritual freedom. So I'm sending you a story about the importance of freeing yourself spiritually if you want to free your world politically."
Of course you send everyone the same story which happens to be this very article about three angels who are really one, so everyone can learn about this course of instruction angels have produced.
Are there actually angels who come to earth and work to bring about conditions of freedom? Were John Adams and Thomas Jefferson two manifestations in form of the same beam of light? What about Thomas Paine and Patrick Henry? How about Abraham Lincoln and Jefferson Davis?
These are questions which primitive earth science cannot yet answer while the science of heaven is little known on earth.
What we do know is earthly conditions are a reflection of our level of awareness. And we know that as we choose freedom, true freedom in every aspect and in every way, then freedom will be chosen by everyone.
If guiding angels are dancing around in your atmosphere, they are with joy in their hearts and mischievous loving twinkles in their eyes daring you to start each day by saying aloud as many times as it takes to feel the truth of it:
My spirit is free!
My mind is free!
And political freedom is
inevitable in my world!"
"God's laws will keep your minds at peace, because peace IS His Will, and His laws are established to uphold it. His are the laws of freedom, but yours are the laws of bondage. Since freedom and bondage are irreconcilable, their laws CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD TOGETHER. The laws of God work only for your good, and there ARE no other laws beside His. Everything else is merely lawLESS, and therefore chaotic." -Jesus Christ in A Course in Miracles
